Elder Bawden and I had another great week here in Rocky Reach!

We have had a great week! We had a wonderful time at Zone Training Meeting this week talking about ways we can be accountable to each other and to develop our faith to find our brothers and sisters that are ready to accept the restored gospel. As a zone we are praying daily for our on dates and the members of our zone and making Preach My Gospel a bigger part of our personal studies. I have my first District Council of this transfer  tomorrow morning and I can't wait! We are going to learn about how to use the Book of Mormon more effectively. Elder Bawden and I are continuing to work with "L" and with a few new people! We met some great potential investigators this week and great things are happening! We are going to have to hand off "S" (Our top investigator) because we found out he lives in another area. We are sad about that. Steve however has been sharing the things he has learned from us with people he talks to about the Restoration! He now has his neighbor interested in taking the discussions! We are so impressed with his desire to learn and to share what he has learned! It is amazing! The Lord is truly hastening His work! We look forward to meeting Elder Packer this Mondayy! This week has been stellar!

Hello all!

This week has been stellar. Elder Bawden and I are working hard and we are feeling so on fire right now with the spirit. We had a final lesson with one of our on-dates who has now moved to Oklahoma. His name is 'K' and we taught him about the Plan of Salvation. He is a great man and we are hoping the missionaries where he lives help him continue towards his baptismal goal. We had a great exchange with the Zone leaders and learned a lot. We also had a mini-missionary with us and we had a wonderful time with him showing what we do as missionaries and about the work we do. He said it was a great eye opening experience! I wish I was able to do something like that before I left! Yesterday we had a great experience sharing the message of the restoration with a member referral named 'S'! We watched the Restoration video and shared our testimonies with him. He committed to read and pray about the Book of Mormon and accepted a baptismal invite for September 5th! Elder Bawden asked if he could lead out and he did a wonderful job! I am very impressed with him!! He also extended the baptismal invite. If I didn't know him before the lesson I would not have been able to tell that he is a new missionary! He teaches like he's almost at the end of his mission! We had a wonderful week! Hello all!

This week has been great! Transfers went well and I love my new missionary! His name is Elder Bawden from West Valley, Utah and he is fresh from the MTC. He has great faith and humility and is a very powerful teacher. He doesn't beat around the bush and he strives to get right down to the investigators concerns. I am very impressed with his work so far. He is a pleasure to work with! He has really hit the ground running. This new Elder is going far! We talked to so many people this week and we even found a new investigator on Elder B's first day! His name is 'S' and he committed to give the Book of Mormon a shot! We are so excited and we are striving every day to find "the one". Our district had 6 new investigators! The Sisters in my district are working hard and we are excited for the miracles we will see in this upcoming transfer! We sustain the goal our mission president has proposed of striving to baptize once a transfer! It will take some effort but we are willing and we know that with the Lord's help we are able to make that happen! We love President and Sister Lewis and are so grateful for the work that they do here in this new mission! Hope you all have a great week!
